The Nanostar Sieving™ platform is based on Organic Solvent Nanofiltration (OSN) Separation using our proprietary advanced membranes. It works by first attaching a first monomer to a central hub molecule. This creates a "nanostar" with enhanced molecular size. Further monomers are then added to the polymer chains iteratively, until the exact polymer sequence is achieved. At each iteration, the growing polymer is effectively purified by removing the reaction debris and by-products via purpose-designed nanomembrane filtration.
